What it’s like to work with Zoe
Space to say the difficult thing
You can bring the parts of life that feel messy, embarrassing or hard to explain. Zoe listens with curiosity and respect, taking time to understand what sits behind them.
Warmth, with honest feedback
She’ll ask questions, share what she notices and offer a different perspective when it could help. You have a say in the direction and pace.
Practical steps for your life
Together, you can look at patterns, work through decisions and try different ways of responding. The aim is for therapy to be useful beyond the session.
Care shaped around you
Zoe draws on evidence-based assessment and therapy, adapting her approach to your strengths, circumstances and goals. Your background, identity and experiences matter here.

Country roots. A down-to-earth perspective.
Zoe grew up in Gilgandra and finished school in Cobar. Her path into psychology took determination, years of study and a move to Newcastle without a job lined up. She knows what it is to back yourself before everything is certain.
That down-to-earth perspective is part of how she works. Zoe looks beyond first impressions, takes people’s circumstances seriously and believes kindness can sit alongside an honest conversation.

Your first session
Tell your story
The first session is a chance to talk about what’s been happening, what brought you here and what you’d like help with.
Ask your questions
There’s room to ask about therapy, confidentiality and what working together could look like.
Find a starting point
You and Zoe can discuss what to focus on and a way of working that suits you. You don’t need every answer before you begin.
Good conversation. No long drive.
See Zoe by secure video from a private space that works for you. You can make room for a session without the drive to a clinic, whether you live in a regional town, a rural community or a city.
You’ll need a reliable internet connection and somewhere you can talk comfortably. Zoe can discuss whether telehealth suits your needs.
When you’re ready
Take a look at the available times and find one that suits you. You can also check the fees or ask a question before deciding.
